Historic Shady Lane has an impressive 34-acres of land featuring the main estate (which houses a getting ready suite), the cottage (another getting ready suite), 4+ ceremony site options, the greenhouse (main cocktail hour space), and the reception tent. the cottage
This building is home to one of our getting ready spaces. Start your pre-wedding festivities in this private, two story cottage filled with natural sunlight.
Built in 1911, the cottage served as Frederick Small's guest house. This alluring stone retreat with its hand-picked vintage pieces will provide you with privacy, comfort, and a perfect setting for photographs with your friends and wedding party. Enjoy being pampered and the stress-free feeling of having your stylists come to you in our salon suite!

the den
Located under the patio of the Main House, the den is home to the second getting ready suite. Complete with a full kitchen and bath, your partner won't have to stress about getting ready in a hotel and then making it to the ceremony on time.
The den opens to a large shaded patio and has a beautiful view of the grounds. The Den and Cottage are far enough apart, so photographers can take you out separately for photographs without worrying you'll bump into one another before the time is right. You're sure to have a fun time getting ready while playing some cards, throwing some darts and toasting to a new journey together!

Located at the Main Estate, this ceremony site features cobblestone walkways, pink rose bushes & ivy-covered spruce trees.

Cocktail hour
You're married and now it's time to celebrate! Your guests will enjoy mingling, bites and refreshments at our greenhouse and surrounding patios.
Cocktail hour takes place at the greenhouse and surrounding patios. Your guests are welcome to mingle. eat and enjoy refreshments in the spaces. We will set up hi-top tables and lounges according to your floor plan.

Let the celebration continue into our 4000 square ft tent complete with draping and doors the open around the perimeter, creating an indoor-outdoor feel!
Our white tent complete with draping and chandeliers is the perfect blank slate for the wedding reception of your dreams.

4000 sq ft tent with draping, chandeliers and perimeter lighting, tables and chairs, a bar, catering tent, outdoor bistro lighting, gazebo and fire pit.
