Casey and Cassidy were married in the Rose Garden surrounded by wild and whimsical bursts of color from arrangements by Misha of Woodland Floral Design Co.
Getting Ready in the Cottage
Every couple at Historic Shady Lane is treated to their own private suite to get ready. The Cottage is the girls’ go-to, with vintage furniture, thoughtfully-curated pieces for all the detail shots, and a salon room for onsite hair and makeup.

A Colorful Ceremony in the Rose Garden
Historic Shady Lane’s Rose Garden is one of the most recognizable ceremony sites on the property. With cobblestone walkways, pink rose bushes, a babbling creek, and grand wedding party entrance at the main house, there’s no question about why so many couples choose this location to say “I do.”
Reception Details
Historic Shady Lane’s reception tent allows for any style of wedding, without losing its elegance. Casey and Cassidy’s reception space was thoughtfully and purposefully designed be Peachy Keen Event Rentals and Design. With a mix of vintage and modern pieces, wooden cross back chairs, brass touches, round tables and the soft pastel colors of the candle sticks, Cassidy and Casey’s reception invited their guests to relax and celebrate in early summer style.

Bride’s Haircut During Reception
A popular wedding day trend has been outfit and hair changes for brides during the reception. The Cottage at Historic Shady Lane is the perfect suite to steal away to for doing just this. Cassidy surprised her guests with a little hair chop and started the party!
