At Historic Shady Lane, we give our couples the freedom to create the wedding day they want. From their choice of vendors to putting their own personal flare on wedding days, Historic Shady Lane couples love making the day their own.
For recent events, guests have been welcomed to cocktail hour or to the wedding reception with a champagne toast or welcome shot. Learn more about how you can wow your guests and celebrate with a toast, too!

Time to Get Crafty
Champagne walls come in different shapes and colors, but the more recent trend has been a large board with a curved top.
Most of the champagnes walls we see at Historic Shady Lane have been crafted by the couple, a friend, or a family member — if you’re planning to do this, just keep in mind that someone will (not the planner) will need to be responsible for transportation, assembly, and break down

Renting A Champagne Wall
If you want to share a champagne toast with your guests as they enter your event space, but don’t want the hassle of building, assembling, and transporting it, there are plenty of rental companies available to get what you need.
A to Z Event Rentals, located in Dillsburg, PA, offers a variety of rentals including walls with shelves for your decor, or this black champagne wall!

Check with Your Bartender
Before going big with a champagne wall or shot wall, be sure to check with whoever is bartending your event, as they will be the ones responsible for all alcohol served onsite.
At Historic Shady Lane, we allow these options, but our default is always to the bartending team onsite for your wedding day!
